HIV Testing is offered by appointment only by contacting one of the Community Health Nurses. This CONFIDENTIAL service is provided free of charge.
 

Cholesterol Screenings are offered one day each month at our office by appointment. The charge for supplies is $13. Check the calendar for dates.
 

Blood Sugar Screenings are offered in conjunction with Cholesterol Screenings or by appointment. A $1 charge covers supplies.
 

Blood Pressure Screenings are held each month at locations throughout the community each month, check the calendar for dates. BP readings are also available upon request at our office.
 

School Health services are provided to Grundy County’s rural school districts (Grundy R-5, Laredo, Spickard, and Pleasant View) through a grant from the Missouri Department of Health and matching funds from each district. The school Health Team is made up of a registered nurse and a licensed practical nurse; they provide nursing, health screenings, and educational programs to the districts they serve.
 

Health Education Programs are available through a grant from the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services. Programs cover a variety of topics and can be presented to any group, business, school or organization in Grundy County. There are also a number of health-related materials available for loan or distribution, such as visual aids, informational brochures, video tapes, etc. All programs are offered free of charge.
